Our aim is to enable as many Rotherham people as possible to the access advice and information they need, when and how they want to.
To help achieve this we provide our advice and information via a range of different channels, meaning you can always access advice and information 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Get help applying for Universal Credit
Our help to claim service can support you in the early stages of your Universal Credit claim, from the application, through to your first payment.
Help to Claim is a dedicated service from Citizens Advice. It’s free, independent and confidential. Our trained advisers can help with things like how to gather evidence for your application or how to prepare for your first JobCentre appointment.
Internet and web-chat
You can find information 24/7 from the Citizens Advice website.
You can get advice from an adviser via the Citizens Advice Web Chat service, this is answered Monday to Friday from 10am to 4pm and availability will depend on the demand at any given time.
